Fèkētàr Se (/fɛc/ /tər/ [camera] [sore]) is a temperate Town located in the Meaavea Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Fèkētàr Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Fèkētàr Se was founded by Fomnorlim Fflur, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Fèkētàr Se has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Fèkētàr Se receives an average of 239 cm/y (94 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Fèkētàr Se covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3810 m (12500 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fèkētàr Se was founded durring the late 16th century in winter of the year 1473, by Fomnorlim Fflur. The establishment of Fèkētàr Se was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Fomnorlim Fflur electing to pay people to resettle in Fèkētàr Se.

Fèkētàr Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fèkētàr Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fèkētàr Se is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of premissive split-log ties streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

Right off the bat Fèkētàr Se hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The new wealth has created some worrying attitudes in many passers by, such that it’s clear new laws have recently been enacted and enforced with such extreme scrutiny the locals seem to be going about their day as if by clockwork.

Fèkētàr Se has an animal control department which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the control, impoundment, and disposition of animals.

Fèkētàr Se has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Fèkētàr Se. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Fèkētàr Se's parks.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Fèkētàr Se's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Fèkētàr Se's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. Interiors will often have a grand stairway and opulent ballroom..

In Fèkētàr Se sometimes, near one of the seasonal solstices, the sun appears to split into three and it rains from a clear sky for several hours.

The Marble Snake near Fèkētàr Se are known to be more aggressive than normal.
